Our experience with Nathalie at Mevrouw de aankoopmakelaar could not possibly have been better, or smoother, and my partner and I highly recommend her services. After using her local knowledge to help work out what flavour of Haarlem best suited us, she managed to squeeze us onto the busy lists of every viewing we wanted to be at. When we found the house that we wanted to bid on (the house only in Haarlem we bid on), she helped us construct an offer that was within our budget, but also very competitive... And we got house! Our only bid we placed in Haarlem. The rest of the process was actually surprisingly easy, as she helped us make sense of the process, the steps, and paperwork. Nathalie was just awesome. She is very very knowledgeable about houses in Haarlem, and things to watch out for in homes/be careful about. My partner and I had a lot of fun throughout the process with Nathalie.

Ze was vriendelijk, altijd enthousiast, goed bereikbaar (zelf op haar vakanties), kritisch en wist veel van van de huidige markt in Haarlem en omgeving. Na een goed kennismakingsgesprek had ze al gelijk ideeën welke buurten en woningen het beste bij mijn wensen zouden passen. Daarna ging het vrij vlot. Binnen 2 maanden 4 huizen te hebben bezichtigd had ik eindelijk mijn eerste eigen woning gevonden. En dat vind ik vrij bijzonder in de huidige huizenmarkt. Nu woon ik op een toplocatie in een leuke buurt in een fijn appartement!

We recently bought a house at Hoofddorp area. Being close to Amsterdam and Haarlem, buying a house in Hoofddorp is quite challenging but thanks to Nathalie as we were in safe hands. We have contacted Nathalie Braams end of June 2020 the first time, and found a house already in August despite the challenging market and the pandemic! Nathalie was honest, helpful, listening our wills and always on top of everything. She has provided all the guidance we needed, in fact, she made the process smoother than we could have ever imagined. We were able to do everything in English. Her knowledge about the housing market and the Dutch houses was essential for us, especially as expats, and we were very satisfied. She would advise us on the condition of the houses, on the potential of the houses and was able to clearly point out the pros and cons of the characteristics. Overall, Nathalie made the journey to our first house memorable!

We are Expats in the Netherlands. Before we contacted Nathalie, we had bare knowledge of the housing market in the Netherlands. In the beginning, she was very patient and answered all the questions in detailly. During the viewing of every house, she inspected details of the house. Not only explained these at the time but also an inspection report followed up. The most important thing is that she can find out the weaknesses of the house which we can't see. When we want to make a bid on a house, she was able to help us make a good offer. Especially in Haarlem, the good house sold quickly. We bought our lovely house within budget quickly relying on her expertise. When the transfer time came, she contacted everyone in the process, making sure there are no risks, even the born country of the translator. We're so lucky to meet her. She is an excellent agent, especially for the first time of buying a house in the Netherlands. We highly recommend her, especially for the Expats. Her English is excellent.
