Firstly, I want to say that Joanna and Wendy are worth every single cent you pay for their services! If you are thinking about getting a Makelaar, I strongly advise them. I am an expat and I was totally oblivious to the process of buying a house except for looking on Funda.nl And I was very skeptical about hiring a Makelaar, but I am so glad I did. There are a lot of details you really have to pay attention to in order to get the house you want at the price you want. Without Joanna's services, I know that my partner and I would have made huge mistakes. Also, Joanna and Wendy saved us a significant amount of money by lowering the cost of the house by 5.6%. They also worked in a quick and professional manner that was way beyond our expectations. They are thorough in their home walk-through assessments, they know how to negotiate pricing and handle contracts. They are extremely knowledgeable about their business and deliver a complete service. You don't have to do much at all if you choose them. If you want to save your self huge efforts and energy in the process of buying a home, choose for Joanna and Wendy.

My experience with B&F makelaar was absolutely brilliant. Being an ex-pat recently arrived in Den Haag, finding a property to rent was mind boggling. The first few companies I tried were not very responsive, which was frustrating. However, B&F makelaar were very quick to respond to my emails and calls. They are a small company and offer a very personalised service. I fell in love with the first flat I viewed and Wendy (my broker) helped me with all the paper work to have the contract signed in less than a week (the contract was in English, which really impressed me). And I was moved in within two weeks! Not only that, Wendy went over and above expectations by assisting me with changing the name for the utility bills as well as quickly working with me and the property owner to resolve very small teething problems you experience when moving into a new place. I highly recommend B&F makelaar as a company - especially if you are an ex-pat looking for an extremely professional and personalised service.
