Asked to wait outside the house. I have seen dozens of apartments and houses, and (in Amsterdam, anyway) everyone is free to come in, even if the makelaar was busy explaining something to others. Perhaps Zandaam is different? Felt bizarre, plus we were running on a schedule and in the five or ten minutes that we waited outside we could have already viewed the house. On a positive note, the makelaar seemed very professional.
